Profhilo
-
This treatment is for those whose main concerns is ageing, wrinkles, fine lines and skin laxity. Profhilo is a 10 point injectable treatment made from hyaluronic acid. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. Profhilo helps to combat sum damage and wrinkles
-
Profhilo helps to regenerate the youthfulness of your skin. It boosts and hydrates the skin and remodels ageing and sagging skin.
-
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
Requires 2 visits, one month apart.
Review in 3-6 months for further treatment
-
Profhilo treatment lasts for around 6 months, and two treatments are recommended, though this will vary from person to person.
-
After receiving Profhilo treatment, it is important to not massage or manipulate the treated area. This can cause the product to spread outside of the injection area and result in uneven results. It is also important to not expose the treated area to extreme heat or cold, as this can affect the product’s efficacy.
Dermaplane
-
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for your skin. Your healthcare provider uses a special instrument to shave away the uppermost layers of your skin.
Dermaplaning can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin.
-
Dermaplaning can help minimize the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and dull skin. The procedure can reveal smoother, firmer and healthier skin.
-
Each session will take 60minutes.
-
You may consider dermaplaning if you have skin concerns such as:
Acne scars.
Actinic keratosis (scaly skin patches that can lead to skin cancer).
Dull or dry skin.
Peach fuzz (light, soft hair on your face).
Skin damaged by sun exposure.
Fine lines (wrinkles).
-
Recovery is different for everyone in the weeks and months after dermaplaning, but you can expect:
After 1 week: Redness and swelling should subside. You may notice enlarged pores or small whiteheads on your skin, which usually go away with the swelling. Don’t shave the treated area.
After 2 weeks: A scab may form over the treated area, which falls off. The skin underneath will look tight and pink. It might be itchy. Most people can return to work after two weeks, but you should avoid strenuous activities.
After 4–6 weeks: You can gradually get back to playing sports or other activities, but you should stay out of the sun.
After 6–12 months: Continue staying out of the sun until the treated area has returned to your normal skin color.
LED Light Therapy
-
The soothing, deep penetrating LED lights target deep into cells heightening their internal functions, photo-stimulating dermal blood flow and create faster healing so your skin always looks rejuvenated.
-
LED light therapy uses different colours of light to target specific skin concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, acne, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation. The skin absorbs the light, which triggers a series of cellular reactions that result in various benefits for the skin.
-
1 session of LED Light Therapy will take 45 minutes.
Microneedling
-
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. Your healthcare provider uses thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
-
Microneedling has cosmetic and medical uses. You might consider microneedling if you’re concerned about:
Enlarged pores.
Fine lines or wrinkles.
Loose or crepey (thin and wrinkled) skin.
Mild scars, especially those from acne or burns.
Skin discoloration or uneven skin tone.
Stretch marks.
-
The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes.
-
Most people need multiple microneedling treatments, usually about 3 weeks to 8 weeks apart. It can take 3 months to 6 months to see results. Afterward, you might need the procedure once a year for maintenance.
-
Your skin might be red and swollen for up to five days. An ice pack can help reduce irritation and discomfort. Most people can wear makeup the day after the procedure, but you should stay out of the sun until your skin heals.
